Our 5 Pillars

Prayer

We believe that prayer is essential to Christian growth and a daily necessity to effectively communicate and hear from God. Through prayer, we learn to joyfully demonstrate God’s abundant love by loving one another generously. Effective prayer must be directed to the one true God. Prayer that moves God is offered to God fervently and made according to His will and in agreement with fellow believers. Prayer is our most profitable activity therefore we must devote ourselves to prayer by giving God the time and attention He deserves in order to have a growing relationship with HIm.

Repentance

We believe that repentance leads to salvation. Genuine repentance requires a change of mind and will produce the fruit of transformed actions attitudes and lifestyle. Behind the call to repent stands the promise of forgiveness of sin, the gift of the Holy Spirit and a new relationship with the Father. We become new creatures with a new nature by letting go old ways and putting on of Christlike attitudes, through patterns and behaviors, also known as sanctification.

Salvation

We believe that salvation involves the redemption of the whole person and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Salvation is a the gift of God brought to us by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.

Evangelism

We believe that evangelism should be approached as a relational opportunity rather than a religious obligation. Personal evangelism is the key element and focal point of studying through the Word. One of our highest callings as believers is to passionately tell others about Christ and sharing the power of Christ with others.

Mission

We believe that as mission minded Christian believers, every individual will be challenge and encouraged to find their personal mission. Worship and the Word are the top priorities for FCC and through this God directs our fellowship as a whole into local, regional and worldwide outreach.
